About the suit

The SIRENS gel-suit is the next wave of scuba technology. It contains a substance within the layers of the suit that can help divers survive severe water pressure (since the suit is comprised of a liquid). This same substance also helps adjust to the wearer’s body temperature to keep him/her warm. The weight belt is magnetic, so that the oxygen gauge can clamp onto it instead of dangling through the water (This was thought of so that enemies can try to grab on it.) The FFM (full face mask) is of a unique “muzzle” design. This was a universal design so that all SIREN members, human and neo alike, will be able to fit it over their faces (and also to show that neos are just as important members of the organization as humans). The fins have magnetic heels and are easily taken off and put on the weight belt for mobility on land. On the right palm are buttons that are used for various features, such as to call a sled to one’s position.

Aya dives down unto a wreck that was very familiar to her. Her heart pounds dramatically, hoping that the worse hasn’t happened. Before her eyes, she came across the vessel that her friends were last seen. The S.S. Aarie lied there on the ocean floor in three separate pieces, as if a child had taken his toy boat and threw it down a flight of stairs.

She couldn’t believe the news anchor when she said that the Aarie had succumbed to a terrorist attack. “Vikki… Juni… Aarie… Anne-Marie… Are they really…?” She brushes those terrible thoughts aside and continued her search.

She wasn’t alone. She enlisted the aid of some X-SIREN buddies in order to make things easier. They combed the entire ship. From the bow to the stern. From starboard to port. Aya was relieve that there were no dead bodies within the ship’s interior or around the vicinity.

Suddenly, one of her friends found fragments of a bomb that was placed at the bottom of the ship. Aya recognized the manufacturer of it. A person that knew Aya well in her dark past. SIRENS are known for bounties on their heads, and Aya (being known as the “Aces and Eights”) was on top of the list. She thought that the person in question was killed long ago, but now it seems like a ruse.

Aya: (You wanted us to find this fragment, didn’t you? You left it as a calling card for me to come to the…)

X-SIREN 1: Aya?!?

Aya: Thanks, guys. With this, I’m pretty sure who’ve done this and where they are located. I’ve got it from here.

X-SIREN 2: That’s the “Dead Man’s Hand” for ya. Always thinking you’re “Power Girl” and think you can take on the world.

Aya: Heh! I prefer Supergirl. She has a chest that I can actually work with.

X-SIREN 1: Well, you’re not getting’ rid of us that easily. We’re comin’ with, regardless of what you say.

Aya closes her eyes and gives a sigh, then gives in to their resolve.

Aya: Thanks, guys.

Aya calls a sled to their position, still praying that her friends are ok.


Yeah, I know. The story’s a lil’ corny. And take note that this doesn’t play canon to any of ’s stories.
