It's been awhile, hasn't it?
I'm just been in a bit of a rut lately in terms of my personal life. It took me for a loop, but I just want you guys to know that I'm not giving up. So,
here's the rundown as to why I was so silent.
On Valentine's Day, me moms got in a car accident which got her pretty banged up a bit. She's doin' fine for the most part (thank God for that), but I
had to step in to help get her business taken care up. Gettin' the accident report, helpin' with her pay off bills, talk to the lawyers to help get a settlement for her... all that stuff. I've been pretty busy in that regard. Would had told you guys way sooner than now, but my internet was actin' retarded on my phone for some reason. It kept cuttin' on and off and couldn't link up to the internet properly until recently.
Other things have happened as well, but that was the main issue that had taken up all of my time.
Also, by some freakish will of fate, both of my friend's cpus are kaput (Still scratin' my head on that one). So, what little chance of postin' on dA is completely gone until I find some other means of postin'. I can still walk to the library in terms of e-mailin' stuff to commissioners though.
...AND my cpu's monitor had blown out it's backlight, and I can hardly see anything on it. I have a backup cpu to work on, so I can still work on
commissions and other pics. However, that's the computer that is hooked up to the scanner and I don't have the disc to put the scanner on the other computer. If I squint reeeeeally hard, I can still kinda scan. It's just I can't send off sketches without it lookin' like a complete mess since I can't clean them up in PS due to not seein' what I'm doin'. At least with line art I can just hit Ctrl + F2 in order to clean up inks since I have a record set to that and then transfer the file to the other cpu.
Commission wise, still sittin' on the rest of Vigil's comic, the first four pages of a new comic, and a few other miscellaneous commissions. I also have the February sketches done. Still gotta work on March sketches which I'll begin workin' on today. I didn't have the info on those on hand since the internet on my phone went out. I'll send somethin' on the camera to show my progress.
Jungle Girl Issue #3 is also done... though, I can't post it without access to dA so... yeah...
I also got two NEW Jungle Girl Comics. The story of those are from the minds of and . These comics are free. Though, I can only just e-mail a page a week to the respective storytellers since again... I can't post here yet.
So, yeah. That's what's up. Sorry I'm haven't been been as active on dA as I've previously been. It's proven difficult to get the money up for payin' off Comcast. But the main bills are the priority at the moment. Any extra coin will go toward payin' them off and gettin' the internet back up and runnin'.
I'll be sendin what I've done Monday via e-mail.
Talk to you guys soon.

Apologies for the long hiatus, but life has been kickin' me in the nuts as of late and I needed to take a break for my mental health. I was in a dark place for these past four months. Had to mourn the passing of four loved ones, flat top portion of our roof was about to cave in and had to get it replaced, legal issues that I had to attend to, and endin' relations with a certain person due to his repulsive actions that I just don't want to talk about... all on top of takin' care of moms. So, yeah. I had to get all this out of the way and, with the help from family, was able to do so. If it wasn't for them, I'd probably will still be in the fetal position with my morale at an all-time low. The last hurdle now is to (A) get over this stomach virus and (B) get used to this damn drawin' monitor. Bessie (the name I gave my XP desktop) has finally kicked the bucket after 23 years. Now, I have to use Photoshop on the laptop via the subscription service. Colorin' on it is awesome! It's just
No More Commissions! Life Update!
Hey, everyone. It's been a roller coaster ride for me these past two months. Unfortunately, I had to pick up moms from Florida cause things didn't work out (Which was two months ago). Then, a few days later, she felt terribly ill. I tried to get her to the hospital, but she didn't want to go. I should had forced her, because a few nights later I found her face down on the floor. I called the ambulance as fast as I could. It took about a week for the doctors to fix her up. However, I still had some hurdles to jump over. The first hurdle was her mental state. For those who don't know, my mother is bi-polar/schizophrenic. Myself, or other members of the family who is able to deal with this, has to keep an eye out for her. Not necessarily all the time. Just when she has these severe mood swings that come out of the blue. In my moms case, as long as she takes her medicine, she's fine for the most part. However, I recently found out that the medicine called "Lithium" is wreakin' havoc
Tyin' Up Loose Ends!
It's been a hell of a flippin' month, guys. We lost another member of our family recently, and this whole situation was extremely difficult to deal with. He had an illness (don't remember the name) and the decision of "pulling the plug" had to be made. Ultimately, it had to be done. However, some of the family didn't agree with the decision. Hell broke loose and a lot of us left on bad terms... Though I was on the side of pullin' the plug, I could understand how the other side felt. Truthfully, if I was in the situation where I had to pull the plug on my mother... I just don't think I'll be able to go through with it. Regardless, this took a tremendous toll on my mental state and had to lay low for a while. Today, however, I got a call from my cousin to try to reconcile with the others. We met up and things went really well. I didn't hold it against them cause it was just a stressful situation for everyone. They'll be takin' his body back to Alabama where he was born. Unfortunately
It's almost over...
First off, thanks to all that commissioned me last month. I was able to stop the shut off notice and keep the lights and gas on. I also thank all that wish me a happy B-day. Some of you know that I really don't celebrate it (it's like another day for me), but they're really heartfelt nonetheless. Always appreciated. Now I know it's been a while... ... and I'm sorry I've been absent all this time. It's just a LOT of responsibility hit me all at once recently due to family issues... On top of takin' care of moms, my uncle had hip replacement surgery and no one to take care of him. So, I had to step in. 2.Moms did somethin' that I wasn't aware of... which had a lien against our home. 3. Tryin' this "Caregiver" program to see if I can qualify to be able to take care of moms and get PAID for it, and... 4. Everyday tasks to keep the household afloat. Between the constant doctors' visits for physical therapy, psychiatrists, mammogram, kidney specialist, etc as
